Car starts fine when cold and runs like a dream since I've replaced every darn part on the car. But once it gets warmed up I have to kill the power to the main fuel pump to get it started. If I start it without doing this it takes 20 seconds to start and runs very bad for about a minute.
New and replaced items include: In-tank pump; Master fuel pump; Fuel pressure regulator; Idle air control valve (Could still be bad); Distributor; Injectors; Fuel pump relay; ECT sensor; AMM; Flame trap; Spark plugs; Distributor; Coil; Plug wires; Cap and rotor; Jetronic computer; Computer beside steering column; Fuel filter; Injector seals; Intake gasket;
O2 sensor seems to be OK; Hall sensor is OK; AMM is ok; IAC is in doubt.
As some of you may know, I have 5 or 6 of everything listed. Im thinking that the IACs I got at the junkyard are all bad in some way or another. Ive read on the Ringlee list that a slow responding IAC could cause this condition. How slow are we talking here. Ive noticed that my best valve takes about 10 seconds to bring the car down to idle some of the time. Like when you first start the car it jumps to 2000 RPMs then slowly comes down to 1000.
I cant seem to get the car to idle below 1000 RPMs. The black knob on the TB is all the way in. I have no vacuum leaks. I dont have the o ring on the TPS, is this ok?
