Idler Arm Nut... working its way loose... 120-130

Hello...
I've replaced the idler arm bushing 3 times before on my 144, but the second on my 122s. Today, I replaced it... all went well, tightened it with all I had. (it was a 1ft wrench) But after driving for an hour, I checked and found the nut had worked its way loose. So I tightened it again; drove home...(a 30mile trip across the city.) And it was loose again. This time I extended the wrench to about 2 1/2ft, tightened it with all I had, used loctite, used 2 nuts... let's see how it'll behave tomorrow.
Has anybody ever had this happen? It never happened to me before ever, I find this rather annoying... (and could also be very dangerous! If it worked its way off.)
Cheers.
