tube or no tube...that is the question 200 1986

Does a 1986 B230F (240DL Wagon) have a tube running from the oil trap into the oil pan? I removed the 'breather box' from the engine block for cleaning and did not see any tube. The oil trap had a built in 'down spout'. This down spout extends down about 1.5" in length is about 3/8" to 1/2" in in diameter. What is the verdict gentlemen...Have I shot myself in the foot and lost the tube into the oil pan or does this model not have a removable tube? Thanks for the input.
