battery problems? 200

Look for other "unseen" loads on the battery, such as underhood light, glove box light, vanity light, trunk light (sedan only), stereo or alarm system malfunction, or even the brakelights (bad brake light switch). At one time or another, I've seen all of these misbehave and drain a fully charged battery.

Also, be certain that your alternator is actually charging the battery. 300K miles is *more* than enough to wear out the alternator brushes (just replaced mine in a '90 at 200k miles).
