Resistor specs? 700

Does anyone know the specifications for the resistor for the in car temperature sensor (behind and above glovebox) for the ACC in the 86 760 Turbo? All the information I have is that it allows current to pass when the temperature inside the car is above 64 degrees F, so it allows A/C operation. I seem to remember a TSB from Volvo that recommends a direct connection that bypasses the sensor. This is what I have done in my car, but then I lose variable blower fan speed on "aut" setting and ACC operation from cold to hot. Knowing the specifications for the resistor (or where to get one) would allow for soldering to the wires in the sensor body. The resistor in there now is rusted. A new sensor from Volvo is expensive. Thank you and best regards to all at Brickboard.
