For those of you who have helped me in the past thanks, but now my time is done. My wife drove her 1993 940 turbo with no oil while I was out of town, the engine has seized. The upper engine is fine (i pulleed the valve cover, no damage at all in the valves or cam), it appears to be in the lower half. so i am loooking to sell the car for parts or to someone who wants to tackle the job. the car has about 150,000 miles, a new radiator and exhust system. i recently changed the head gasket and the timing belt (less than 5000 miles) the car was running perfect.
all of the electronics are good, the body is in excellent shape other than the hood, which has a dent in the front. the interior is in very good condiditon, leather seats and all power seats working. the sunroof and the dash are also in great condition.
the AC blows very cold, the battery is a brand new DieHard (we suspected the battery was the cause, long story, don't ask) all of the lights work, the passenger side side marker is broken.
the tires are in good shape, all of the wheels are true.
the transmission is in good working order, i had just changed the fluid.
if anyone is interested, or wants more info, they can email me a at avirfl@lelcs.com, i am asking $1000 or best offer. if no one wants it, i will begin stripping it myself and selling the parts on Ebay. the car is located in South Florida, and will need to be towed (obviously).
i am currently in the market for another Volvo, preferably a Station wagon.
Thanks to everyone for their help...
Avi
