follow up question driver's side heated seats 200

A few days ago I asked for suggestions regarding repair of the seat heater on the driver's side of my 1990 240. Thank you all for your suggesions.

darmstrong replied that the job could be done with out removing the seat and supplied a link showing pictures of the heating element. Is it possible to remove only the front or back seat bolts and then pivot the seat on the remaining pair? If so, would I be able to pivot the seat far enough to get at the underside?
