Rockin' The E-Codes 700 1989

I have installed the E-codes in stock configuration (4"x6") headlights on three of our cars. I am using 100/90 watt H4 lamps, and 100 watt H1 lamps. In addition I have intalled four relays and upgraded the headlight wiring to 10 gauge copper. The lights are bright.

I also have a set of European E-code headlights which I may install on my car. My reluctance is twofold: First, replacement part are harder to find. Secondly I don't like to make my car stand out from the crowd. I don't need to attract any extra attention to myself by using non-stock appearing headlights. However, there are so many large lens headlights out there now, my car wouldn't stand out as much as it would have ten years ago.

The European E-codes would be brighter on low beam, but I'm not sure the larger reflector size would make up for the additonal 200 watts of power on high beam.
