My excuses for my spanglish.
I use on my 121 a CompuFire unit (US made), made originally for the Bosch 009 distributor (VW). My distributor are a black iron 026 (and I made some changes on itīs plate for adapt the compufire). Originally I put a Accufire unit (low cost asian clone), but it burn after some months. As a safety, I carry a second distributor plate with points on the trunk.
My dizzy was very worn with some subtle vibration on the axis, due it, adjusting the points is a pain. Electronic module cures it. If your dizzy maintain the points calibration and you need only 2 adjusts by year, you can stick on points.
Btw, after the dead of the original coil, I put a red bosch coil (40KV), and open a bit more the sparks, the engine are more happy with it (gasoline in my country are 97 RON, but is a bit of a salad). The electronic module allow the use of this coil (if I use points, they and the condenser will be worned on few time due the excess of power voltage).

Happy driving,
