Foreign material in engine- what to use to flush out 200 1990

1990 240-
To make a long story short. I shattered the plastic piece of the breather box that sticks into the tube that goes into the oil pan. IN addition, while trying to fish it out the down tube is no longer attached at the top and is loose in the engine but it is still attached (clipped) at the bottom.
I think I can put the new breather box male plastic portion into the tube because the tube is loose but is still only an inch from the opening.
I drained my oil and no pieces came out. What fluid can I add into that opening where the breatherbox down tube is to drain out of the unplugged oil pan to try to "flush" any plastic pieces out. My used oil is contaminated with transmission and differential fluids from previous services. Help.
