K&N Air Fliters 140-160

I want to replace the old bulky air filter box on my '72 142E with a direct manifold mount K&N Air filter. Now the actual mounting of it seems pretty straight forward but I have a couple of questions. First, what do I do with the crank case breather line? It is attached directly to the air filter box, so where so I put it or what should i do with it if i put a K&N on? Second there seems to be some kind of sensor attached to the front wall of te car, right behind the grill, what do I do with that? Thanx guys.
