Blower Fan Squeal...what's it mean for me? 200

Well dag nab it!

The 89 245 hits 240K miles and BAM, it starts yelling for
attention. It's likely due to the record 30 days of below zero
temps. Not weather the car usually sees.

Anyway, the blower is making such a squeal that if the windsheild
wouldn't frost up I'd rather be cold than listen to it.

I'd imagine that eventually the blower motor will burn up if I
continue to use it. Is that so? I searched the archives for key
words but all I could come up with were some talk of motor
replacements. To include this...

What do I need to do to fix the squealing? Fan replacement, motor
replacement, relubing something or what?

Of course this couldn't happen during one of the last several years
when our winters were mild! : )

Thanks,

Ron
