My '80 245 DL is the car that inspired my family to buy Volvos first place. It was our first Volvo. Other cars have come and gone, but the '80 remains, and is now mine.

We got the car with around 98K miles in about '88 or '89. (I was really young at the time.) My father started racking up miles at a crazy rate in the mid 90's, and now it has 423K.

I'm never going to get rid of the '80. It's still rust free, if you can believe it! It's really dirty, but no rust under the dirt!
