740 (90) to 240 (86) B230F engine swap possible? 200 1986

I have located a 1990 740 B230F engine from a supplier who tells me that the distributor is in the cylinder head - unlike my '86 240 with the distributor on the forward driver side of the block. Anyone know how difficult it would be to swap the 740 engine into my 240 with just the block and head from the 240?
