Reccomendations wanted: What engine should I put in my '76 245? 200 1976

Thread title says it all.

Ideally I'd just put another B-21 in it, preferably one from an '80 (with the emissions control systems). I'd like to stick with K-jet, since I'm (somewhat) familiar with it.

I'm looking for an engine that would be easy to put in as well, which is why I'm not interested in a V-8 or Turbo conversion.

The M-46 is in good shape on the car, so I won't need to pull the tranny (but I will anyway when I remove the old engine).

What's the main difference between the later 240 engines? Is the fuel economy any better? I'm pretty sure they would bolt in okay, but I don't want to have to deal with a ton of electrical differences, or different FI systems.

Is there a list somewhere that shows what different engines were used in different years? I once saw one, but I don't remember where.

One last thing, I haven't gone engine hunting before, so if any one has any special tricks or "sources" for finding one, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks as always.
