Shift Lock Relay 200 1991

el doctor:

I had a problem with this just yesterday. I squeezed the fuse holder on fuse number 7 (1991 245 SE)and found it was a little loose. This solved the problem. I have found the fuse holder on this car to be the source of other problems as well (fuel pump fuse for instance). While fuse holders are often cited as a source of problems on Volvos I am finding this one to be worse than any other 240 that I have ever owned, and I have owned many. I would not get rid of the car for this alone though, I'm just always going to look there first when ever there is a problem, even if the problem is a flat tire.

Good luck,
Len
