considering a 760T wagon as my 2nd Volvo... couple of questions... 700 1987

I'm looking at a 1987 760 Turbo w/intercooler, about 160,000 mi.

this would be to drive while I take a little more time to fix things on my parked 245...

here's a couple of initial questions as I've never driven a 700 before...

is there a 3rd seat available for the 700 series wagon? the one I'm looking at only has a spare tire under the rear interior flap.

is the slide lever for the hvac a blower control only? it only turns on the fan in the last (to the right) position so I'm wondering if it is only a blower control and then the ACC takes care of figuring out what heat/cool you need???

how do you guys with multiple cars handle insurance? swap insurance as you drive one car over another OR just have them all insured all the time (seems pricey but maybe that's the only way). I'm hoping to be able to test drive the 245 as I repair things but use the 760 as my daily driver but I'd like to avoid an extra car insurance bill.

I've read a little bit on turbos, like the performance variation but I'm a little leery about maintenance of them...

any thoughts?

thanks guys,

jack
