1984 240 DL, 130K miles, automatic, good tires, needs right front ball joint, needs brakes, numerous cracked tail light and turn signal lenses; the dash lights have an occasional short circuit. The locks are a bid sticky. single owner, runs strong, clean interior, no accident. Those are some of the seller's description. Is the short in the dash lights difficult to fix? How big a job is it to replace the ball joint? I have not seen the car. The seller is asking for $1300. Is it worth while? Thanks for your opinion and expert advice.
