Next time it stalls, watch the tach while cranking. If it jumps but you can't hear the fuel pump, check fuel pump relay as Don and Chris say. If it's dead, suspect the RPM sensor mounted on top of the bellhousing - they go intermittent when failing. FAQ tells you more. Regards.
