Accessory fog lights for 1990 Turbo 700

Can't remember the other brickboarders who I e-mailed with discussing this, but I may have some news for some of you.

The 1990 740 was available with a dealer installed option of fog lights mounted under the front bumber in the air dam. These were encased in a semi-aerodynamic plastic housing and were only fitted to the 1990 year. As a result they are very hard to find in a wreckers yard, and are only available as a set from the online retailers who even know what they are. $330 a pair!!

While at my friendly neighborhood Volvo dealer the other day, I stopped by the parts counter and asked about them again. A previous visit there wound up with the standard pre-1990 fog light being ordered by the counter guy. No thanks!!

Anyway, this particular counter-guy was very knowledgeable, and found the listing, and to my surprise, they were available individually! I already had the passenger side light, and the switch and wiring, all I needed was the driver's side. He ordered it, came in the next day, it's perfect! No longer looks like I'm missing teeth!!

$125 = tax, not cheap, but better that $330
