timing belt 88 skipping teeth? 700

I need help . Has this happened to any of you ? I almost positive my timong belt has skipped a tooth or two. I was driving when this happened. It stalled out, restarted and ran so badly, meaning I had about less than half the power I normaly have. I made it home. I think with the exteme cold it caused the timing belt or tentioner to cause this problem. It will not start now. I noticed that when I was driving it home it ran like it was way out of time. Imput please. PS: The front oil seals have been leaking for about 9 months or so. I did check the timing before I shut it off and it was firing at 5 degrees after top dead center instead of 12 degrees before TDC. Please help to ease my worring that I did'nt blow the head gasket. Thanks to you that have helped me. Dan.
