Tried to replace sway bar link bushings last night. One nut would not budge.
I was using a cordless DeWalt Impact wrench which I assumed didn't have much guts, but I broke the link off right at the nut. BTW, I have the "straight style" which go with aluminum Control Arms.
I ordered a pair of replacements from FCP Groton to be delivered tomorrow.
My advice would be, that anyone preparing to do this job should go ahead and order the Sway Bar Links. Mine were rusted where water had gotten trapped the rubber bushings.
