A friend who lived 1/2 mile from where I work owned one of these original Volvoville conversion cars from new until the early 90's, when he sold it, as a basket case to some intrepid Volvo lovers from NY (if I remember right). They saved what was good and installed the convertible conversion parts onto a freshly chopped 1800S. It was dark blue last timeI saw it, and the owner even had a copy of my friend's father's original title.

Very unusual vehicle for certain, but it is the real deal.
