clutch rises slow 89 744 ti 700

hi all.
recently while driving my 89 740ti with an m46 transmission i have noticed that sometimes the clutch is slow to bring it self back to the up position. is this common? ive seen nothing in the faq about it. it dosent have any noticable effect on shifting or driving is there an ajustment that i can make? or is a trip to the transmission shop the answer?
