stuck trunk latch 700 1989

*sigh*

There's no way I can get a little piece of metal, or anything else, through there, because I put a bunch of sound-proofing there to get rid of the motion of the trunk. Therefore, there's no gap.

As far as the sub goes, I had that thought, but A. it's wedged in way too tight B. there's stuff in front of it, so I wouldn't be able to get it out of the way. It's a pretty big box.

To add insult to injury, the sub stopped working -- it's probably the amp, but hey, that's in the trunk.

This is getting stupid. If I took it to a body shop, is there any way they could get it open? Cut a hole in it, weld it back shut? :(

thanks for the help...
