Changing Rear Mail Oil Seal 200 1985

Question 1: is my rear main oil seal leaking?
I have an AW 70 tranny in a B230F non-turbo with about 140k in a 1985 245 DL. The oil seal has never been changed to my knowledge

I'm leaking 4 quarts of oil about every 100 miles of driving. I leak no oil when the car sits. Looking in the engine bay, I see no leaks. Looking under the chassis, I see a thin of fresh dark/black oil lining the AT pan and the transmission cross member, and one drop of oil on the transmission cross member. I see no smoke at all from the exhaust. My flame trap and oil trap had a small amount of smudge, but air was able to pass easily and freely. Is this likely a rear main seal leak?

If I change the rear main seal, should I undertake any other preventative maintenance, such as R/R the torque converter?

Thanks in advance.
