I did indeed fry the speedo, so I went to the pull n save and the first car I saw was a 85 240! slapped the cluster in, and viola!
works perfectly.
the good part about this is I visited a previous victim and got the small clock harness that I forgot the first time. so now I have a tach and a working small clock.
$20 for the cluster so all invested is about $25! pretty cheap mistake...
