Fuel and spark but no start 200 1983

Here's how I'd go about it. I'd go back to the ECU and check the resistance it sees to the ECT. This will double check the new sensor and its wiring. My thoughts are the sensor gets broken during one of the many awkward flame trap services.

If you were cranking a lot with the sensor broken, you may have washed down your cylinder walls and pretty much flooded the motor. Sniff the dipstick for fuel. Take the plugs out and ensure things are dry and let it cool a while before trying again. If it was really wet with fuel you might squirt a bit of oil into each plug hole.
