940 Door Hinge

The driver's lower door hinge on my '92 940 has an odd problem. The pin works itself up partially out leaving the door misaligned. I have tried another pin, epoxy, even putting a thin wire into the hole to make the pin fit more snugly. Nothing works permanently. Is there a fix for this other than replacing the entire hinge? Also what might cause the left rear corner of the car to be .75" lower than the right side? I replaced the rear springs and the shocks are fairly new KYBs. Still no improvement. Can I shim up the spring mount w/a rubber grommet?
