fuel pump relay and #7 fuse getting way hot!!!!!!!!!

Something discussed on a great British brick site might pertain, a common cause of hot fuel pump relay in K-jet. Resistance at the connectors in the plug that the relay fits into can get high. The problem is the connection of the wires to the spade connectors gets loose or corroded and can be overcome by adding solder. Turned out to be true for my turbo. Might also be true at the fuse, poor contact, high resistance.
