disconnect battery before storing! 200 1990

From the my old post, the clouds of black smoke and puffing after I started the car after 3 months are caused becuase of a bad ECU. The car is hard to start and will run leaving a trail of black smoke behind. Tested and checked everything else in the car. This ecu does the same thing in a good working 89 240. Before I parked it, it ran super. The ecu is a programa one, I guess it had the bad bosch one before.

Here's a catch or a strong coincidence. About a year ago I had the same problem with a 86 that was parked for a while. That car would not start, turned out to be a ecu problem, I think ran fine before.

I think in both these cars, I don't think I disconnected the battery.

Anyone have an ecu to sell, all local junk yards don't have them.
