PLEEAASE HELP 700 1991

Heater control valve is situated in one of the heater hoses. They attach to the heater core at the firewall on the driver's side (under the hood). Look behind the intake manifold. The control valve has a vacuum hose running to it.

Yes there should be a hose connected to the air intake hose that you describe. Unmetered air would be entering yours if the hose is missing. I forget where that hose goes but it might be to the idle control valve. Get some light under there and look around either find the disconnected hose or find another open port. The missing (?) hose would connect those two opens.

Can't help on the power steering hose. Perhaps the hose is held in place by a crimped steel end?

Randy
