Driver's Strut Demolishes Front Tire, Need Strut Ass'y, Desperate 200 1978

Oh dear, you should see what happened yesterday when the front driver's strut assembly let go. Funniest thing, really. I could not figure out where the smoke and dreadful drag track smell was coming from. I know, duh! But everything looked fine when I opened the hood and no tires were blown, which is what it felt like when the strut let go. I thought the grinding noise was a bearing but now I know. The driver's tire is something to behold, half slick, half treaded. Very amusing if I didn't now need a new tire and, more importantly, a driver's side front strut assembly. So if anyone anywhere has such a valued part
for sale, please let me know price and delivery. Bus is probably cheapest to ship. Respond off-line, if you like. ottawavalleylandrovers@sympatico.ca
