Fault Code 2-4-1, EGR system

Greetings all, looking for some guidance here on my 1990 740 Turbo. My check engine light came on a few days ago. Stayed on through probably 4-5 start/shut down cycles since then, until this morning. Started it up today, no CEL!! Finally got around to reading the code from the OBD today. It's stored the 2-4-1 code which the guide says is " EGR system flow too low"

Car is running fine, seemingly, and CEL is out. Should I worry abouth this, or just wait to see if it re-occurs? If I need to do something to head off trouble, what do I need to do?

Thanks in advance for any advice!!!!
