Burning oil 200

My 1991 245SE has 176035 on it, and I am running 0w40 Mobil One synthetic, highball my engine a lot, and am pretty hard on it. Currently I have about 4000 miles on the oil, and I was checking the oil level and it was about 2mm above the "checking" area. So thsi means I have burned about 1/4 quart since I changed the oil 4k ago. Is this amount of oil burned ok?
