Engine turnover problems - replaced fuel pressure regulator, but still can't start engine 200 1990

A few weeks ago, my 1990 240DL (104K) would absolutely NOT START in the morning... I read the error codes in the Jetronic computer and got the following:

1.) Too rich/lean mixture at idle
2.) Fault in fuel injectors

From previous posts, I determined the best thing to do would be to replace the fuel pressure regulator - after spending $50.00 at Autozone for a new unit, the car was able to turn over perfectly for a week... but this morning, it's back to it's old habits.

With a LOT of patience (almost 10 minutes of cranking) it will eventually turn over but results in a HUGE amount of vibration from the engine. However, it will eventually (after 3 mins or so) return to a normal idle with no vibrations/weird noises. The car is then totally driveable for the rest of the day, until the next morning (about a 16 hour rest period for the car), upon which it won't turn over at all.

I checked the computer codes this morning - got a 1-1-1, so apparently no trouble codes are stored.

(I can't believe it... this engine problem started happening only days after I replaced the front wheel bearings/races with the help of your posts... it seems like everything on the car is starting to break!)

If anyone could help me out with this problem (I really don't want to drop $500 at the local Volvo dealer if I can help it) I would greatly appreciate it.
