Auto OD and Rear Defroster on same fuse 200

In my automatic sedan, the defroster for the back window will not work when the fuse for the overdrive has blown. In fact, my defroster being out was what cued me to check the fuses the last time I had problems.

Anyway, as asked in an earlier post by tjerry, why is the wiring set up this way?

I'd think that the rear defroster would be on a totally different fuse, like one actually related to climate control. It would make sense to me if it were on the same fuse as the seat heater or A/C, but instead it's part of something that has to do with the transmission!
