Wipers quit..........again...... 200 1983

You may remember a couple weeks ago i post about my wipers quitting. I finally fixed them, and got that weird pulley system back together. I figured since i could hardly pull the pulley back off, that it would stay on for quite sometime. A couple days after fixing them, it started raining. They worked for a couple hours, then same thing, that passenger side pulley fell off. I managed to turn them off before the cables came off, but my question is how do i get that pulley to stay on. When i have it out of the car and put the pulley on the shaft, it takes he-man strength to get it off. But it seems to fall off in the car? Would a dab of super-glue or something help? any ideas?
