can't figure out how to get my windshield washer pump out

posted by  someone claiming to be help i can't see on  Fri Feb 6 09:33 CST 2004 [RELATED]

Washer pump not spraying anything at all, not making a sound. Nothing's clogged and the reservoir is full, so it's probably something electric. I have to pull the pump out, but not doing so great at it! It's kinda jammed up in there - do I need to take other pieces out first? sorry - it's a 1979 240.
