Heater core replacement pic's S90-V90

You're cruel. That flashback is probably going to give me nightmares tonight. All those moments staring at it trying to figure the minimum number of things to remove to get at the next piece of the puzzle (mercifully I had a crude exploded diagram of the heater box). The pitifully naked look of the dash after you've finally got it out, like was there anything left? All the pain during reassembly when you're at step 6 and you realize you forgot to put a handful of screws back in at step 3 or you have to back up to step 2 to get the screws into the piece you're working on or that nagging feeling you've just used a long screw in a short hole. And then there's the part I really hate to talk about, the discovery that my core wasn't really leaking, just the nipple got crushed during my brutal attempts to get the heater hose off on the firewall side during a flush. I guess I should be glad my splitting maul wasn't handy or I might have used it and it wouldn't have been to hold the roof liner up.

But I'm much better now ... flinch, flinch
