Switching B21f for a B23f 200 1980

I have a clean 1980 240 station wagon that has a engine problem. It has a B21F with a 3 speed auto. I would like to install a B23F and a 4 speed (od) tranny in place of it - which I happen to have out of a '83 station wagon. My question is simple - can I? Is the wiring harness the same? Would I have to change the brain? I understand that I would have to retrofit the mounts for the tranny, but I'm unsure about the engine. Thanks

Volmar
