i was refering to the ezk ignitions in the 740s and later 240s. the earlier bosch 240s were what bosch called "pointless" ignition. any 240 that didn't have chrysler in the old days, had this. day 1 to the 85 turbos. including the pickup or the wire to the control unit, very few failures again.
