Help! 760 Diesel won't start... 700

wednesday morning, not particularly cold, my 760 turbo diesel would not start. the engine turns over well and seems to lightly fire but won't run on it's own (without the help of the starter). i have two good batteries and no matter how many times or how long i try to start it it won't run.

i normally run treated B20 biodiesel with a cetane ating of 50+, but i recently went on a road trip so my initial thought was that the no starting was due to a tank of bad fuel (low cetane). i drained the filter, poured a triple dose of powerservice in the tank and got it to run wednesday night. i drove it for about 65 miles, topped it up at a good diesel station, changed the fuel filter...

but the next morning it absolutely refused to start. it kinda sounds like it wants to start but not enough to run on its own at all. it was starting with no trouble down into the single digits, and temps recently have been in the 30s.

i had it towed to my mechanic thursday, but he's swamped and i don't thinks he's even looked at it yet. this is a particulary bad time for me to be without a car so any suggestions / reommendations would be greatly appreciated.
