760 turbos were all B-230FTs? Not the PVR engine?

The 760 was introduced as a 6 cylinder car, and so was the 780. Both used the PRV 2.8L V6. As the engine earned a poor reputation and the turbo powered car was faster with better mileage - the B230FT bacame an option in both and the car was marked Turbo. 1990 was the last year of both the V6 and the 760. The 1991 780 had only the 4cyl turbo available.

So you had it right all along. That 760 is either a 6 cylinder PRV...OR a 2.3L Turbo.
