Solution for worn Drivers seat 93 945 900

Well it took the 3 years that I've owned it, but the drivers seat on my 93 945 is quite well worn at the vertical seam closest to the drivers door.
I've seen this on many bricks. Short of seat covers, any solutions from you folks(duct tape is not an option!thanks)Any acceptable seat covers out there that you all have tried and find OK?
