fuel pump replacement 700 1989

Well, if you do it. Run the tank down. Be careful with the gas fumes,(trouble light, etc) the only thing I was confused on was the wires that ran into the access cover. They are held there with plastic type harness. Couldn't find anyway to disconnect the wires. So left them on the access cover and just removed the main fuel hose, breather hose, can't remember what the 3rd one is. I didnt do anything under the car. You may consider changing the filter while you're at it. It's under the drivers seat.
