'89 244 too rich 200

I seem to be running too rich; plugs fouled black, soot coming out of exhaust. I cleanted the throttle body, idle control valve etc, so I don't think it's an air problem.

I plan to replace the O2 sensor, but It seems to me I have read here in the past that AMMs needs to be calibrated. A while back I had a bad AMM and replaced with used, all seemed fine, but this my be when my rich running started.

Can/should you calibrate the AMM that's in the '89 (Bosch 016) ? If so, how is that done.

Thanks,
Andy in St. Paul
