just noticed that i have no warning lights intermittently in the on position before start.at 1'st i blindly reached up behind the inst. cluster and found the connector that makes them magically re-appear by wiggling it.i have pulled and reconnected it many times to clean the pins and the connector.but then i get in to start and they are out again and i reach up and wiggle the connector and they're on again.my concern is that if the connection gets loose while driving can i start to loose charging since the charging light ,as i know, is in series with the circuit that supplies field to the alternator to provide charging of the battery.i haven't had a dead battery yet and it looks like the cluster will have to come out to merely inspect the connector.as we all know space is at a premium in that area"sigh",bummer,PITA, wish i had a new volvo..ect.thanks for reading and responding.
