Don't ya love waking up to rude screeching and burning rubber? Not when it's the AC compressor. 700

Well, for the past two weeks, my 1988 744 turbo has been making a small squealing noise upon slowing. I though that the fan belt was just getting old and made a mental note to replace it. So this morning, I go out to my car like always to go to school and fire it up. It started weak, almost like the battery was dying, but once it started, screeching issued from under the hood with beautiful black smoke. So, my dad drove me to school. I got home and popped the hood and looked at all the belts. It turns out the AC compressor threw a bearing or something because the clutch was not straight with the rest of the unit. Just lovely. So, how much will it cost for a new compressor and belt and installation? Thanks so much.
