Harmonic Balancer Bad...say it ain't so!!!!!!!! 900

Thanks Spook!

I did drop a note to Lucid re: the harmonic balancer. I hope that this turns out to be the source of this crackling sound as it has really made me crazy since owning the car. I have not yet fallen in love with the 945 completely yet as running around trying to find the source of problems and rectifying them has been so far tedious. I do hope that over the long run, this car turns out to earn my faith and loyalty as have Toyota in the past. At 89K, i think it's a nice car, I like it's looks, and like how it rides, but more time will tell. It still makes me a bit nervous in that I really want to depend on this car. I suspect that gettting up to my personal specs will take some time, and only time will tell if this is the car that so many people have come to love. I would like to find a sweet 245 in the near future. I've been leaving notes on windshields but no one seems to want to part with theirs. Additionally, when they do reach the paper, they are gone that day. I've tried to beat others to them, but I will actually have to be MUCH more resourceful if I am to catch the proverbial "worm." Anyways, as always, thanks Spook for taking the time to respond to my note. I can always count on you! Thanks again.
